Kiwanis Family Resources

Looking to get the word out about your Kiwanis One-Day Project? Check out this template for a news release. Reach out to the local media to help spread the word about the great work you are doing!

The Kiwanis Family is composed of Kiwanis, Aktion Club, Circle K, Key Club, Builders Club, and K-Kids.

Kiwanis – The adult branch which sponsors the other branches of the Kiwanis Family. Their primary focus is serving children of the world. Kiwanis clubs can be found in 80 countries around the world. To learn more about Kiwanis in Ohio, check out the Ohio Kiwanis website.

Aktion Club – An organization for adults with disabilities. It gives them the opportunity to play a role in the community by serving and learning leadership skills. Aktion clubs can be found in the United States, Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Jamaica, and Malaysia.

Key Club – The high school branch of the Kiwanis Family. It is the LARGEST service leadership organization for high schoolers. They are in 30 countries around the world with 250,000 members. To learn more about Key Club in Ohio, check out the Ohio Key Club Website.

Builders Club – A branch of the Kiwanis Family for students in middle school, the largest service organization for junior high students. They are formed in schools, YMCAs, community centers, churches, and libraries.

K-Kids – The branch for elementary school students. These clubs can also be established in libraries, churches, and community centers.
