Hello Ohio CKI Members!
We have now launched the Kiwanis Family Mentorship Program for the Ohio District! Also known as KMP, the Kiwanis Mentorship Program will help Circle K members and Kiwanians connect on a personal and professional level. Kiwanians will serve as a matching mentor, while Circle K members will serve as a matching mentee. The hope of this is that all who are paired will foster personal and professional development with each other, regardless of their position in their mentorship.
This mentorship program is solely right now for the Ohio District Kiwanis or Circle K members only. So, please do not share this current matching form outside of the district or these two branches of the Kiwanis Family. We are hoping down the road to expand upon this program!
By participating in this program, you are dedicating yourself to being involved with your mentor/mentee. Additionally, you are agreeing to either meet with me (call, video chat, or in-person) and/or complete surveys to check in on how you feel about the program and what we can improve moving forward. Additionally, I want to remind everyone to make sure that the Kiwanis International Youth Protection Guidelines are followed, which can be found here.
In order to participate in the Kiwanis Mentorship Program, please complete the KMP Google Form by Monday, September 14th! I will be creating matches and sending out emails during the week of Labor Day (September 7th). In that email, I will provide a detailed timeline of any check-in meetings or surveys along with a variety of ways to get the most out of this program. If you do have concerns with your match or any issues arise, please reach out to me.
