Ohio Kiwanis Archive Internship Spring 2022

Attached to this email is a one page document about an Archive Internship position that the Ohio District of Kiwanis is offering for this spring, to start sometime in the next couple of weeks and run through May. This position is available to all college students in Ohio and carries a $500 stipend with it.

“The Ohio District Kiwanis organization presently maintains a significant amount of physical and digital files covering various facets of the organization’s operations and history. The intern will be responsible for collaborating with the Executive Director to create both physical and digital file naming conventions and storage protocols in line with the established Records Retention Policy, will assist with sorting existing digital files into the correct folders, scan and place copies of physical files into the appropriate folders, and establish a NLP or OLP program that can index all digital files.”

Ohio Kiwanis Social Media Internship Spring 2022

The second internship is a Social Media Internship position that the Ohio District of Kiwanis is offering for this spring, to start sometime in February and run through May. This position is available to all college students in Ohio and carries a $500 stipend with it.

“The Ohio District Kiwanis organization presently owns and manages social media accounts on FaceBook (public page and private group), LinkedIn, YouTube, Venmo, and Instagram. We are looking to bolster our presence on LinkedIn and Instagram through the design of a campaign that combines new content creation and outreach to followers across all channels. Additionally, we are looking to build social media assets for Key Leader, a servant leadership weekend retreat held annually. The intern will be responsible for collaborating with the District Public Relations team to create an action plan for the campaign with growth metrics, produce content (including custom design via Canva or similar software), and track and measure success.”

Annamarie McGuire is the Bulletin Editor for the Ohio District of Circle K International. She is attending Bowling Green State University and is studying for her masters in Forensic Chemistry. When Annamarie is not studying or doing CKI-related activities, she is usually being crafty or playing The Sims.
