December Member Spotlight

Our December Member Spotlight is Ashley Workman from Baldwin Wallace University!

Ashley is a sophomore and is majoring in education. Next month in January, she will officially have been a CKI member for a full year. Congratulations on your CKI membership anniversary– we cannot wait to see where your CKI journey takes you!

Members of Baldwin Wallace University say Ashley Workman has been an exceptional member of Circle K International. Her dedication to CKI has shown time and time again this past semester. She is always excited about service and is always eager to volunteer and attend events. This semester she has attended 12 of the chapter’s 19 service projects. What is truly remarkable about her involvement is that Ashley is a commuter student and many of our service projects are often on weekends, which requires her to travel back to campus to participate. Ashley exemplifies the objectives of service and outreach for CKI, as evidenced by how she reaches out to the campus and community.

Beyond Circle K, she is the Captain of the BW Dance Team that actively dance weekly at campus wide events. While Ashley is always there to help, the way in which she does, may mean even more. Some of Ashley’s greatest qualities are her caring attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for CKI’s purpose, values, and its goals. She continues to go out of her way to helps others and support other members of the BW’s CKI club. This year, Ashley has attended all 3 of the clubs social events so far and always treat others with respect and dignity. She even attended the district Fall Rally last month.

Ashley’s presence is always felt. She is a silent leader that leads by her action and involvement. She sets an extraordinary example with her work ethic and dedication to BW and the community around her through CKI. Advisor Robin says “We are a better organization because of Ashley dedication to service.”
